PANTRY

The PANTRY

ACGI Missions’ Nutrition Program is a Health Initiative that’s designed to combat Hunger, Food Insecurity, Obesity, and to improve nutritional food resources among growing families.

Food insecurity and poor nutritional habits has been an epidemic in economically distressed communities due to the ABSENCE of the following:  1.  Fresh Food Grocery Outlets within 1 mile of residence.  2.  Money to secure nutritional resources.   3. Nutritional Recipe Access & Utility.  These  challenges present a social malaise that significantly contributes to the rising health epidemics and treatment disparities.  ACGI Missions’ Pantry has partnered with local Food Banks, and Certified Dietitians to resourcefully provide our growing families with nutritiousness meals, recipes, and healthy food resources.

Our Outreach Teams at ACGI Missions are continuously, developing our resources to compact hunger, nutrition, and food insecurity.  In addition, our Children and Youth programs routinely feed our attendees everyday with 3 nutrition filled meals that are pre-approved by Board Certified Dietitians.

Every 1st Friday of the Month, our Joint Partnerships allows ACGI Missions to distribute Food Goods and Supplies between 5 – 6pm.  ACGI Missions.

Since 1973, ACGI Missions’ nine outreach services have campaigned, and instituted programs to protect growing families from disparities in health, nutrition, education, food pantry, scholarship, children, youth, family and social wellbeing services.
